GEVERS is a private
practice office wherein a number
of patent attorneys are employed
whose main task is to draft patent
applications and get them through
the grant procedures world-wide
in the different countries where
protection is desired. Most of
our patent agents are both European
and Belgian patent attorneys and
may therefore represent the applicant
as well before the Belgian Patent
Office as before the European
Patent Office (EPO).
Grant procedures before national
offices in foreign countries have
to be done through the intermediary
of the respective countries national
patent attorneys.
Further tasks of the patent attorneys
are i.a. to intervene in the realisation
of licence agreements or assignments
and to assist in litigation, including
infringement and revocation procedures. |
